The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has decided that there are too many North Indians in Mumbai. So yesterday they went around destroying taxis, slapping around people and burning effigies. Apparently they couldn't handle the fact that outsiders were monopolizing such jobs as taxi-drivers, masons and so on.

What do you think? Are you a marathi who feels you're being crowded in by the Northies? Or do you think that this is another poor political stunt by a little party to show its 'strength'?

I guess there ain't much to discuss on this issue. Yet another political stunt on the theatre circuit called real life which seems to make more of a social impact than the drama groups spread around the country with thinner scripts and more of over acting :) No wonder fact is stranger than fiction and Ekta Kapoor doesnt need to be creative for her serial scripts, just observant ...

I vote for a common ground competition . The results decide the communities fate. Let all the IMMIGRANTS have a shot at MNS workers and chiefy with Tomatoes and Eggs. If they miss they can stay. If they hit the target(s) lets deport them. what say?

I am almost ashamed of living in Maharastra now. This is almost immature to drive out all the northies. Seriously, these guys should find better things to do.

If it weren't for people for other states coming and working their asses off in Mumbai, it wouldn't have been the city it is today. Political parties here are filled with mind numbing morons, they almost act like they are teenagers trapped in adults' bodies.
