The thing with live albums is that unless the artist in question is versatile enough to change his/her set to suit the live situation, the result is an album with the wheezing voice of hundreds of inebriated fans singing the same passages back on CD. Now if I wanted to hear a drunken, late 20-something mouth ‘Times Like These’ (Foo Fighters) really loud, I’d ask Sidin to tank the wine coolers and get a mic.
