SOUL-PATROL.com PRESS RELEASE :
"As you all know, in my humble opinion, Billy Jones is one of the most compelling artists
around on today's Black Blues music scene.
For his latest album, he has put together a collection of his best songs
on a single album called "The Billy Jones Story." This is something that
I wish more artists should do with some of the outstanding music they
have released and I am glad to see that Billy has taken that step. Look
for 5 or 6 of these songs to make a…

2012 is a disaster film. Let’s be a little more obvious and accurate. 2012 is a disastrous film. Regardless of whether you come in with expectations or without any pre-conceived notions.
Watching it makes you philosophical. Not about how the world’s going to end in three years and that we should live our life to the full. About how money cannot buy everything. About how a $ 250 million budget cannot buy you a good story, arresting dialogue and characters you want to root for.
The…

This happened last week at a premium B-school:
We (QuizMonks; the research team) reach the venue of the quiz two hours before the scheduled time for a dry run.
1) The event head has flown off to Delhi to participate in some other quiz. (Bravo!)
2) The assistant in-charge takes us to the venue when there’s hardly 30 minutes left for the quiz to start.
3) The LCD switches off every 2 minutes; there is no mic; no sound cord for the laptop to test the audio questions.…

By Tony Sebastian who thinks the most stylish Malayalam actor of all time is "A la mode-an "
When my Dad decided to repaint our house earlier this year, he chose a colour that was like a siren. I don't mean a seductive woman who can knock you off your feet with one look, I mean the kind of siren your mom uses to wake you up when it's time for church if you (fake) sleep like me. Very loud. Very unpleasant. This was the kind of colour that circus clowns would think twice about when choosing their…

Boss: Are you a non-vegetarian?
Me: Yes.
Boss: Would you like to try something which is not run-of-the-mill non-veg food, atleast for us?
Me: Absolutely! I always wanted to try, ox’s testicles, snakes, silkworms, ducks, etc.
Boss: Good, You are going to China in 10 days!
This was the conversation I had with my boss when he asked me to go for this junket. I admit, more than the work, the thought of eating all the above mentioned, “Disgusting” according to us, was enough motivation for me to pa…

My version:
I was walking around the inside of Vashi station with friends. We bought tickets and headed towards the track. I wasn't hungry so I had a 'fountain coke' while the others ate. I was addicted to chewing gum and used to ruminate like a cow all day long. I put a mentos in my mouth and began churning.
All of a sudden, I couldn't draw breath and started choking. My brain started to have this burning sensation which I couldn't get rid of. I spat out the mentos. It's funny what dying can d…

The satellite city would be soon getting an iconic structure in the form of the NMMC Headquarters under construction at CBD Belapur.
Speaking on this iconic structure, NMMC Standing Committee Chairman Sandeep Naik, who is credited for pushing the project for a take off, said that there was a need for centralization of the various departments of NMMC, which would be achieved through this structure. While the building took time to get underway, the construction had already started. A unique factor…

Right so, What happens when two really good bands get together?
Well for starts the second band is usually tipsy as hell (naturally or with the help of expensive ...uh..stimulants), Somebody always gets hit by a stray drumstick, A random bloke snaps his neck headbanging overzealously while simultaneously spilling his drink over his date, And at least 15% of the audience simultaneously decides to pull out an all nighter and wake up mugged on marine drive.
In humbler words " a f***ing good time"…

Dynastic rule was made the single biggest allegation against the Naik family in these assembly elections. Every candidate made this an issue to attack Ganesh Naik and Sandeep Naik’s candidature appealing voters to vote against them. But the voters have given a fitting reply to these allegations said Ganesh Naik after the results were announced as he once again established that he is the badshah of Navi Mumbai.
With Dr. Sanjeev Naik having been given the parliamentary candidature from Thane Lok S…

The sweat on my forehead mellowed, but the fury inside my soul was rising by every ticking second.
The faces of fault surrounded me and I had no remorse what so ever of the things that had taken place tonight.
Hungry, Filthy, Nasty.
These sons of bitches deserved this.
I repeated to myself.
They deserved this.
The irritation inside my head was quickening, almost like a ringing next to my ear. I looked at my partner with agitation and then towards the source of my annoyance.
This pale bitch wou…

While the subject seems pretty self explanatory, instead of going about beating around the bush and discovering firm plant fibers to create that one 'indestructible' rope that most of the trekking community and hangmen would be proud of - I will directly start off to teaching you ways to tie the knot. Or would I?
There are different types of knots and they are: Halyard, reef, figure of eight...err. My would be Wifey always complains that I always trail off topic and then forget to tell the real…
