Jacko is no more...

Well initially i thought it was one of those rumors that periodically circle the net,but unfortunately its true.
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, the man with the Moonwalk has passed away. I'm not a die hard MJ fan but trust me, we all grew up listening to Thriller, Beat it, Smooth Criminal, Black or White and I guess we all took a shot at the "moonwalk" ourselves.

It was sad the way things ended for MJ, a sudden cardiac arrest and probably the fact that he was alone, and bankrupt. Numerous lawsuits notwithstanding one cannot deny the fact that he is one of the greatest acts of all time. He has amassed 13 Grammys and has probably sold more than 700 million records which speak volumes of his talent.

His attempts at a comeback were jeopardised time and again but he did not give up, he was on course for a comeback tour again but this time it was the final setback.

One can probably have a list of the greatest pop songs of all time and MJ would definitely feature in the top 10 multiple times, his album Thriller turned 25 last year. Despite so many credentials, its his lifestyle that got more attention and was the reason for his downfall and the reason he was called Wacko Jacko.

The music and entertainment industry has lost a great artist today, hope MJ finds peace.
